Different Weekend - Same Great Event for 2025!

Cropping Cafe is back in 2025 to offer a fun, friend- and gift- filled scrapbook getaway in Ocean City, Maryland. We are making our home at the Grand Hotel again this year - with 4 days of scrapbooking including no additional fees for Early Bird or Staying Late. Again this year, the Grand has provided competitive tiered room rates along with the amentities we enjoy.

This event started as a treat for my patrons and has grown from there, so I will open registration first to those who have attended my OC event in the recent past, first come and with a DEADLINE to register. After that date, I will contact anyone on my waitlist (send me a message to be added to waitlist).  I truly appreciate your patience as I work through registration.

Crop dates:

Crop check in Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 1pm*

*please do not ask for earlier, if we can offer an earlier time we certainly will - and post it to the private FB group

Thursday - no frills; Friday - fun starts

Crop check out Sunday, January 12, 2024 at 3pm*

*flexible end time; you are welcome to scrap the whole day and stay over to Monday

Crop details:

• Full 6' table for each guest
• Access to electric at each table (please bring power strip/extension cord to get to your personal space)
• Private event with round the clock access
• Host vendor: Cropping Cafe
• On-site vendors: Creative Memories, Pretty Pressings and possibly more to be added
• Gifts, games and interactive fun throughout the weekend
• Back by popular demand - Secret Scrapper (details on "OC WEEKEND" tab of website)
• Hospitality Suite provided. This is a community space just steps from the scrapbook space for easy access to coffee and water. Also, snacks and bagels (you will be asked to sign up for a donation.)  No outside food is allowed in the Grand Ballroom or public areas of the hotel.
• Meals are on your own. On-site restaurant and coffee shop. Plus, near-by options.
• Hotel stay additional. Rooms include microwave and mini refrigerator.
• Theme shirts available for purchase (details on "OC WEEKEND" tab of website).
• Massages available (add'l fee, sign up later through private Facebook group).
• A PRIVATE FaceBook Event is created for ATTENDEES OF THIS EVENT ONLY to chat and share photos; lots of crop information will be shared there. Look for your invite in the beginning of September.

Fee details:

• Crop fee: $170 per person.
• Hotel stay is additional (see below).
• DEPOSIT: $50 non-refundable deposit to reserve your space.
• PAST ATTENDEES: Registration and deposit must be received by AUGUST 31 2024 to reserve your space. Open registration starts the next day. Space is not guaranteed; first come, first served.
• NEW ATTENDEES: Registration and deposit must be received to reserve your space. I will contact the wait list first and then post to social media until all spaces are filled.
• WHEN REGISTERING: You have the option to (1) pay in full $170 or (2) pay $50 deposit to reserve your space.
• BALANCES: Crop balance MUST BE PAID by OCTOBER 31 2024.  Balance can be paid electronically through my website on the "OC WEEKEND" tab; mail check; or see me in person at a crop by October 31st.
• Special rates are offered in our "block". Call the Grand Hotel (21st St) at 410-289-6191 or 800-447-6779 - the Grand Hotel DOES NOT offer online registration for my event. To get the discount you must call.
• CROPPING CAFE ROOM BLOCK: You can NOT book online and be included in our block. You MUST call the hotel. By choosing our block you get the best rate and we can keep our fee lower. You must mention use code: Cafe25 or mention our block: Cropping Cafe to get the special rate offered.  We are excited about low rates - depending on your room style: $57 City View; $62 Partial Ocean View; $72 Direct Ocean Front - all per night (plus 11% tax).
• Hotel commitments MUST BE MADE BY NOVEMBER 30 2024. The hotel will charge first night stay with booking.
• Hotel check in 4pm; check out 11am.

- Space is limited. Paid deposit or paid in full reserves your spot.  The $50 deposit is non-refundable.  Cancellations are unfortunate. If you, for any reason, need to cancel - your payments (less $50 deposit and any fees) are only refunded IF your space can be filled. All gifts and prizes are forfeited if you cancel. No refund, no gifts/prizes for 'no shows' or cancellations the week of this event. As a courtesy, please let Lisa know if you can not attend.
